Step-by-step guide to effectively managing your inventory
Managing Amazon inventory can get complicated when the number of SKU's is growing and you have stock with different statuses: in production, on the way, in the preparation center, sent to FBA, and at the FBA warehouse.
To efficiently track the movement of your inventory and never lose sales because of stock shortages, you can skip the spreadsheet hassle and try an automated tool like sellerboard.
sellerboard offers an easy-to-read Inventory Planner dashboard with a complete breakdown of where your stock for every product currently stands and, more importantly, - when is a good time to reorder.
Based on manufacturing and shipping times, business growth and product seasonality, sellerboard calculates how many days of stock you have left and when you should reorder. You can even get recommendations on order quantities for each product and receive email notifications with low-stock alerts.
Recently sellerboard updated its Inventory module with the Purchase Orders feature, which enables users to do the following:
Enter all purchase order details and export them as a spreadsheet for your supplier with the option to attach any necessary files (design files, quality control instructions, etc.);
Enter manufacturing costs, transportation costs, and all other types of costs that will be summed and allocated per unit to calculate the final COGS for all products from your purchase order;
Track the status of your purchase order according to the following flow: Draft > Ordered > Shipped > Closed, and update the numbers in your inventory planner automatically.
Following your orders from the manufacturing phase to the FBA warehouse by changing the Purchase Order status gives you a clear view of your stock, saves time and and helps you never run out of inventory.
sellerboard also includes accurate profit analytics and additional tools for Amazon sellers: follow-up mail campaigns, PPC and bid optimization, and listing change alerts. All this starts at $15 per month with a free trial.
👉👉👉 Check out the sellerboard demo and start a 2-month free trial to see how it can take your Amazon FBA business to a new level.
See you in 15 days!
